From the 6th-11th September 2011, I helped to run a radio art project in Bratislava called ‘TIK ArtRadio’, described in the project outline as follows:

One week of radio broadcast scheduled by wind-time, created by radio makers and collectives from around Europe and dealing with alternative- time concepts and ecology. The radio stream will be facilitated by COL-ME crew, temporarily located at Progressbar (Bratislava). Other collectives will join online – either live, or with pre-recorded shows and interrupting the 24h wind-sound stream.

Having never done anything remotely similar to running an online radio station, the project was a steep learning curve, but an incredible thing to be involved in. Excitingly, the programmes submitted were varied both in approach and geographic origin (too many to list, so please see the full schedule here).

At various times across the week (and for many weeks before), the following wonderful people worked incredibly hard to put the project together: Barb Huber, Martina Kedrova, Michal Cudrnak, Verena Kuni, Ana Vuztaric, Jürgen Rendl, Reni Hofmüller and Norbert Math. A big thank you to all of them, and all the programme contributors.
