In February 2009, we* visited Bernie at his traditional barber shop
on Newington Road, Edinburgh. Bernie, was incredibly warm and
welcoming to us. He spoke to us on a range of topics, from his love of
rock ‘n’ roll and blues music, to the changes he has seen in south
Edinburgh over the years.
